down to one thing: getting the help you need to live a full, happy, productive and emotionally healthy life. If you are feeling overwhelmed, like you can’t
handle life on your own, a few counseling sessions may be just what you need. PISI style of counseling is individually structured to your personal style
and problem.
PISI promotes optimum individual, couple, and family, functioning and inter-personal health, by enhancing inter-personal connections and improving
communication and relational skills being mindful the individual's right to self-determination.
Imagine teachers, lawyers, social workers, nurses, therapists, counselors, coaches, doctors and other volunteer helping professionals coming alongside an at-risk community of single parents, foster
children, blended families, etc., to offer a series of family-oriented activities in a non-threatening setting. It happens at PISI. All professional standards of privacy and confidentiality are maintained
regarding any information shared at PISI.
In addition to individualized counseling services, PISI offers a wide variety of groups. Groups may
focus on issues (depression, incest, relationships, substance abuse), specific populations
(Women, Men, African American, Hispanic, Asian, Homosexual, Bisexual, ABD students, etc.),
and general therapy.
PISI strives to provide exemplary counseling and education, working with individuals, families and couples to eliminate domestic and community
violence through The Anger Resolution Program a.k.a. TARP. You will obtain assistance from certified anger resolution therapists.
IMPORTANT: PISI does not provide assessment for anger without group (class) counseling. All persons mandated by the legal system will
have both an assessment and group (class) counseling. Whether a person voluntarily enters the program or is mandated by the legal system,
TARP is open to anyone wishing to better improve his or her anger concerns.
Time is a luxury few people have. As individuals and families struggle with relational distress, anger, chemical dependency and persistent emotional reactions, the clock keeps ticking. Clients
have described PISI as a unique and helpful counseling public charity based on its approach, and a terrific, dependable resource in times of crisis. Work through your issues, and live a better
